queer queens of qomedy in fort worth
The Queer Queens of Qomedy are coming! This all lesbian comedy revue is taking the country by storm. From Alexandria Virginia, Chicago, Santa Cruz, and now Fort Worth Texas, this comedy show is getting mad applause.
Poppy Champlin, a veteran comedian, currently on HBO’s Documentary “All Aboard Rosie’s Family Vacation”, who the Chicago Sun Times called Blisteringly Funny during the closing ceremonies of the Gay Games, hosts and produces this all Queer Comedy show. On September 22nd, Poppy will bring two other queens from her queenly court to the Scott Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas; Vickie Shaw, and Sandra Valls.
Vickie Shaw is originally from Texas and, in her twangy southern drawl, she lets you know what’s what and what isn’t. A favorite on Olivia cruises, seen on LOGO’s “Wisecracks” and starring in the new hit comedy documentary “Laughing Matters… More!”, Vickie is a perfect Queen for Texas.
The other queen, is Sandra Valls, who grew up in Laredo, Texas. Sandra, can currently be seen on Showtime’s new hit comedy; “Latin Divas of Comedy”, she has appeared on BET’s Comic View as well as Gallavision’s Que Locos. With her explosive, honest, comic flair, she is quickly rising to the top of the comedy game. Whatever your sexuality, nationality, religious or political persuasion, the Queer Queens of Qomedy are sure to bring you to your feet with laughter. All hail the Queens!
