Several times a year we break out the rakes and shovels and clean up the yard around Herland.  This time we need some chainsaws, too.  We will be clearing away fallen trees in Herland’s backyard on Saturday, April 7, from 1-4 pm.  We will also trim bushes, weed eat, and clear flower beds.  Please join us for any or all of the afternoon—we need the help! 

The Herland Supper Club heads downtown this month to Trattoria Il Centro, best described as an Italian urban eatery.  The authentic cuisine of Italy is brought to life at this new restaurant, located at 500 W. Main, in the beautifully-renovated Montgomery Building.  If you’ve never tried it, you are in for a treat. 
Trattoria has gotten great reviews for its good food and the menu features items ranging from basil-crusted salmon to pasta to pizzas made in a wood-burning oven.  We’ll be there on Saturday, April 14, at 6 pm (right after the Cimarron Leadership Summit, see page 1, lets out). The Trattoria is located due south of the Civic Center on Main Street, with plenty of parking on the street right in front of the restaurant.    

Join the Scrabble pros and amateurs alike for our monthly Scrabble game on Saturday, April 21, at 2 pm.  Games are played at all levels.
