Gay Pride Month Festivities at 1st UU in OKC

First Unitarian Church of Oklahoma City is a welcoming congregation, and has several events planned for Gay Pride. 1st UU is located at 600 NW 13th Street, Oklahoma City. Call 405.232.9224 for further information.

  • June 12th, A gay member of the church will give a talk during the 11 a.m. service.
  • June 12, a showing of IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK, 2.
  • June 15th, 7 pm, a showing of BEFORE STONEWALL, a historic perspective, Jefferson Room.
  • June 16th, Jonalu Johnstone will celebrate with a Seder at 7 pm, 6:30 Potluck. It is called a Stonewall Seder Friday June 13th, a showing of the first part of Angels In America
  • June 18th, the social justice committee is planning dinner at the Habana Inn at 7:30, and then will be going to a drag show. They will need to make dinner reservations, so if you plan to attend, please call by
    June 19th. Jonalu Johnstone will be in the pulpit at 11:00 am service.
