Women’s Studies at OU
Regina Bennett, longtime Herland friend and benefactor, is teaching a class on Lesbian Lit at OU this summer. The class is WS 3220.01, and will meet from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays from June 6 through July 28. Students must be enrolled OU students. Dr. Bennett expects to use Faderman’s Anthology of Lesbian Literature plus a couple of novels, possibly the classics The Well of Loneliness and Rubyfruit Jungle, perhaps also Tipping the Velvet.
